What are the two largest issues facing Spring Valley?

Spring Valley was cited in a recent state audit for paying a concrete company for work that was never completed. The payment was returned promptly by the company after the audit surfaced. As an elected official, how would you avoid this in the future?

Residents who live near the intersection at U.S. 42 and Spring Valley Paintersville Road say it’s a dangerous intersection that needs full traffic signals. Do you agree it’s dangerous and if so, what would you do to make it safer?

Why should voters choose you instead of your opponent?

Continue to provide safe, clean, drinking water for the village. Maintain the Village roads and property.
The issue you are referring to concerned the Spring Valley Township, not the Village of Spring Valley. However, the village keeps track of all invoices and pays only when the work is completed satisfactorily.
The intersection you are referring to is in the township of Spring Valley. There have been several safety upgrades made to the intersection over the years: flashing red light, flashing stop signs, lowered speed limit, clearing of brush on both sides of US 42. I do agree a traffic signal will help keep the intersection safer and possibly rumble strips.
I love the village and its rural atmosphere, and hope to continue to make improvements for the residents.
