Experience 42 year career in banking within the accounting & operations department, retired 2016. I previously was the fiscal officer for 6 years Village of Jamestown.
Education Graduate of Greeneview Local Schools with college courses, including accounting.
Being mindful of working within an established budget, to research multiple alternatives and resources to expend funds that best benefit the township.
There are expenses, as with any industry, that appear to be out of control and are mandated. I feel that a good working relationship between the township trustees, township residents and other governmental entities to work to find efficient ways to effectively provide services to the community, while monitoring available resources.
My previous exposure to the governmental process and my various positions within my 42 year career in banking. As a department manager, I was responsible for preparing annual budgets and overseeing many projects within the changing industry of banking and regulations.
I have lived in Ross Township approximately 36 years, with the last 25 years on Grape Grove Rd. I was raised on a farm with my family who moved into Ross Township in 1967. In 1978, I moved to the Village of Jamestown with my husband, Rick. It was during this time I was fiscal officer for 6 years for the Village. We decided that the more rural area of Ross Township was where we wanted to be, which we then made the decision to build our house in 1994.
